Loki is afraid that someday his magic won’t be enough to heal Tony. After all, humans are fragile, and Tony is a “hero”. Loki doesn’t want to lose him.

So I’ve seen some pretty good renditions of Daenerys Targaryen as Loki and Drogo as Thor in the fiction so I thought I’d give it a shot drawing it.

Daenerys is by far a big favorite of mine in the books and the tv show so I love the idea of Loki in her place, he would be sheltered like her but far less empathetic for people suffering. I can see him realizing that even though he was sold like cattle he’s been put into a position of power as long as Thor would have him. I love the idea of Loki being badass and manipulative but still the needy guy would separately wanted to please, Thor being happy to receive and reciprocate.

Thor would also be a awesome Drogo, powerful and happy to make war but also logical about it, a good leader.
